Volunteer to Replace Signage and Survey Boxes

Come out Saturday October 23, 2021 to work with PCT and CDFW to replace signage and Angler Survey Boxes

Calling all friends of the Putah Creek fishery! PCT has organized a volunteer participation opportunity that will directly impact our cherished water. We will be replacing outdated or worn-out regulation signs at select access points along the inter-dam reach. 
In cooperation with Region 3 fisheries biologist Ryan Watanabe we will also replace six Angler Survey Boxes (ASB) that have been damaged, graffitied, or otherwise made inoperable since their original placement in 2008.

About this event

Volunteers will meet at Putah Creek Trailhead (FA 5 parking lot) by 9:00 AM to construct signage by attaching signs to back boards or gluing to Kiosk mounting panels within the Interdam Reach. Following Covid Safety protocols will be required including :

1. Covid Vaccination required

2. Face covering required

3. Waiver Forms completed (for new volunteers)

4. Cordless powered screw drivers with flat head bit attachments are useful for attaching signs to back boards. Short ladders (5 ft.) are useful. All mounting supplies provided by PCT
